“Plaza de Russie's split”
Hotel Plaza e de Russie - Relais & Châteaux is a wonderful Viareggio hotel in a perfect spot — beautiful clean rooms (one guest got a lovely suite upgrade), an incredible Michelin restaurant, a solid breakfast buffet, the beach and pool sitting over the road, a walkable train station for Pisa trips, and incredible service for many. Caveats though: severe reports call the restaurant bad with arrogant staff, the rooms dorm-like, and describe staff sending guests the wrong way to a reserved restaurant then dismissing the missed reservation.
