Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is a convenient clean stay — right inside the Georgia Tech campus among energetic students, spacious tidy comfortable pretty rooms, a well-equipped quiet gym, an affordable breakfast, good food though the restaurant hours are limited, a ten-minute walk to the MARTA North Avenue station, parking with an unlimited daily in-and-out pass from the desk, and a lively bar where Cory enthusiastically recommends beer styles. Caveats though: a severe night-desk complaint — after skipping housekeeping, a guest called for the complimentary bottled water and was rudely told to buy their own, an attitude that soured the stay; the rain shower also ran a touch hot.
