“Avon Old Farms' split”
Avon Old Farms Hotel is a split-reviewed stay — positives include an old-charm hotel in a quiet area, beautiful grounds to walk with two nighttime fire pits perfect for meditation to birdsong, a perfect seasonal summer pool, free breakfast, nice clean rooms and an onsite EV charger. Caveats though: severe dissents cite hidden charges, awful front-desk assistance, closed recreational facilities and disinterested staff; one calls the facility lackluster and hypocritical — eco-friendly claims used to skip daily room service while paper plates, plastic serveware and poorly-working HVAC suggest cost-cutting — and another reports a nonfunctional shower that was a real pain.
