“U Chiang Mai's heart”
U Chiang Mai is an amazing lovely stay — a beautifully-designed hotel in the old-city center on the road to Wat Phra Singh and Tha Phae Gate, close to temples and restaurants, amazing rooms and atmosphere, brilliant food including a partially-made-to-order breakfast with great coffee, a handy app for requesting service, free water-tea-milk refills plus a daily beer, a balcony with courtyard views, a twenty-four-hour room-use perk, a gym and free bikes, and kind helpful staff who carry luggage — there is no elevator — and settle early arrivals in the library. Caveats though: the fixed shower head is awkward, the air conditioner is loud, steps everywhere make it unfriendly for limited mobility, and rooms run small.
