“Hotel Hartness's country retreat”
Hotel Hartness is a beautiful Greenville country-house property — a tranquil bucolic setting, clean rooms with very comfortable beds, a big nice pool, a courtyard and fireplace guests loved, a great spa, and exceptional eager-to-help staff. Recurring complaints though: the complimentary breakfast and pool-side food service were discontinued, there are no ice machines, the advertised preserve is becoming housing, one Clemson concert weekend ran severely understaffed, bottles littered outdoors until mid-afternoon, a TV failed, and the Patterson's she-crab soup and dry grouper disappointed twice.
