“Manhattan Beach Victorian”
Near the airport with pilots among the guests, dining opposite and a Costco five minutes away, Ayres Hotel Manhattan Beach LAX is a very lovely Victorian hotel: a nice courtyard for morning coffee, distinctive decor reflecting the owners' art tastes, and a cleanliness rare for an older hotel. Notes: the pool and hot tub are outdated, no bar or restaurant currently operates, few nice restaurants sit nearby — and a serious complaint reports check-in remarks and attitude mocking Asian accents, a disgusted never-return.
