“Beloved Isla Mujeres beachfront repeat pick”
Ixchel Beach Hotel is a years-long repeat favourite on Isla Mujeres — clean big rooms with gorgeous ocean views, unbeatable beach access, beautiful pools, plentiful chairs, perfect water pressure and strong AC, and restaurants, bakery and pharmacy nearby. Staff are super nice, attentive and lovely. The noted gaps: beach chairs and umbrellas get set up late — sometimes 9am — frustrating early risers, and one guest found the pricing unreasonable relative to food quality.
