The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel is an enjoyed super convenient stay — a well-located Bukit Bintang spot a stone's throw from Pavilion with malls, food spots and a convenience store all in walking distance, helpful front office staff and guards, a cute cat sighting, a nice room view, a wet-dry bathroom, a pool and small gym, complimentary afternoon tea, and a favourite perk — a one-hour afternoon free-flow wine session to unwind after exploring. Caveats though: the pillow ran too high and spoiled one guest's sleep.
