San Karlu Hotel is a superbe loved stay — a charmingly-appointed boutique tucked down an alley yet perfectly fine inside, a pretty-good location a few steps from Valletta's center with tourist attractions within ten minutes, decently-sized very clean spacious rooms with appreciated private balconies, a pleasant rooftop bar and pool in the heat and for evening sitting, a wonderful copious free breakfast from seven (limited seating, pastries, bread and warm dishes), and very kind attentive helpful staff; a relaxing base after big exploring days.
