“Dauphine Orleans' quiet French Quarter base”
Dauphine Orleans Hotel is a well-located French Quarter hotel — centered yet quiet, walking distance to everything, a clean pool with ample towels, an adorable attached bar, spacious clean rooms with people-watching balconies, and beyond-excellent lovely staff. The complaints: the photos flatter the rooms — some are plainer; a balcony listing didn't ensure a usable one; the room could have run cooler; and one guest was charged over a dollar [odd extra].
