“Astoria Lucerne's station perch”
Hotel Astoria is a modern hotel near Lucerne station — big comfortable clean rooms (one lacked any bathroom door), a spectacular-view rooftop bar, a rich breakfast, free bottled water and fruit, a free-bus visitor card, and Chapel Bridge a short walk away. Caveats though: an overcharged tax dispute met a shrugged 'don't know', a deposit release took a month, and one review listed unfriendly service, a musty pillow, bar noise on weekend nights, no kettle and a fixed AC.
