Hotel Villa Pamphili is a quiet, clean villa hotel in Rome's outskirts — professional front-desk service, excellent espresso from the breakfast bar, a very nice pool, a great spa where Tamara was amazing, comfortable beds for wonderful sleep, and a restaurant and service one driver praised. It only suits self-drivers or shuttle users though: the centre is a ride away (a kilometre to the bus, taxis run about twenty-five euros at night); breakfast divides opinion — superb and quick for some, atrocious supermarket-quality sweets for others; and a maintenance-facing room heard noise from 6:30 through a thin balcony door.
