Casa Dorada Los Cabos is a gorgeous oceanfront resort walking distance to the Marina — clean spacious rooms with decent sound isolation and beautiful views, a lovely pool with kids' games and plenty of chairs, nice beach loungers, great nearby restaurants and a massage place opposite; repeat guests call the staff the most pleasant of any Mexico trip. Two issues stand out: check-in initially refused a paid-for sea-view room until an hour of haggling, and one room had dead USB plugs and a smelly shower drain; WiFi is poor and staffing thin at times.
