China Hotel is a convenient wonderful stay — a great business-travel location above Yuexiu Park station on line two and across from line eleven, the Canton Fair halls north and the park east, a famous food street and cafés downstairs, a historic hotel with a lobby heritage display whose renovated rooms feel fresh, an executive upgrade with full meals, a comfortable pool, friendly staff, and a very rich breakfast spanning Chinese, Western, Middle Eastern and Japanese stations. Caveats though: the fresh coffee is remarkably poor and rooms only stock drip and instant.
