“Ikebukuro's transit tower”
Straight out of Ikebukuro Station with the airport bus at the door and Tobu, Lumine, Seibu and Bic Camera around for one-stop shopping, Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro is a return-guest favourite: a delicious breakfast, a bigger-than-expected room, a gracious higher-floor upgrade during a busy period with nice area views, and warm polite staff with timely cleaning; the dated decor is accepted for the location. One caution: a typhoon-extension room had a loud AC all night and thin soundproofing.
