“City Centro's pink”
City Centro by Marriott Oaxaca is a great very nice stay — a pink hotel in a quiet well-run spot still walkable into the city (about twenty minutes to the center) with plenty of coffee, ice-cream and craft shops around, a nice modern beautifully-decorated room, a really nice pool, good-standard facilities, live bands morning and evening, and helpful thoughtful staff. Caveats though: do not bother with the onsite restaurant — middling for the rate when Oaxaca's food scene beckons — breakfast read average to one guest, room ventilation was ordinary, and noise experiences vary.
