City Centro by Marriott San Luis Potosi is a really good downtown stay for most — a central old-town location walkable to everything, spacious rooms, great service and convenient access that made a repeat guest's every stay a great experience, plus a small check-in hiccup handled well. Caveats though: a severe note found hair on the beds in both rooms booked; a loose drain plug, one balcony door that would not open and another whose broken lock would not close hurt another; and business travelers may prefer outside the old town for transport.
