The St. Regis Kanai Resort is an insanely beautiful 2023 Riviera Maya property — amazing spacious rooms, a lovely beach, incredible facilities and flawless, detail-perfect service that needs a healthy budget (dining runs high). One alarmed guest breaks the spell: they found mice droppings through hallways and staircase corners, called the furniture flimsy, saw staff overwhelmed at full occupancy and would not return — though Hector on the beach and the margarita-class host shone for them.
