“Bronx's opera house”
A minute or two from the subway, Opera House Hotel is a high-value comfortable stay: a great clean room with high ceilings and old-money decor, a comfortable bed, very nice staff, a clean building and a tasty if simple breakfast in an enjoyed breakfast area. Cautions though: the surrounding blocks have a rough feel — odd characters around, advice against women walking out at night — and the breakfast is merely filling.
