Ocean Palms Beach Resort is a so-great tropical-feel stay — well-accommodated absolutely-perfect updated rooms, a simple grab-and-go breakfast with good coffee, evening tiki torches and fire pits giving a Polynesian feel, feet-away access to a nice seaweed-free beach, nearby bars and restaurants, immaculate grounds with hard-working housekeeping, and friendly helpful staff including an on-it front-office lead. Caveats though: one arrival found a dead roach — the room was switched with nothing further offered.
