Windsor Arms Hotel is a beautiful, historic, elegant Toronto hotel — a lovely suite, excellent value against area rates, old-building character with minor aesthetic wear, great Bloor Street shopping position, an amazing afternoon tea, a fantastic breakfast with perfectly-cooked eggs Benedict, super comfy beds, and next-level staff — Carol at the desk, Peter the valet-doorman and porter Mr T are the true gems; returning guests are treated as friends. Complaints: two FIFA cups taken from a room were never returned, room carpets want a clean, and dinner at Gatsby was awful by any measure.
