“Holland's split verdict”

SpringHill Suites Holland is a nice good-value stay — a feel-good hotel popular with business travellers and families, a big clean comfortable room, an excellent convenient location about eight minutes' drive from downtown and under twenty from Saugatuck. Caveats though are significant: a severe report calls the service the worst ever seen at a Marriott — multiple issues through the stay despite repeated requests and assurances; a key card was cancelled mid-stay with an inattentive manager; housekeeping only applies to stays of three nights or more; and kids' running noise carried.

Rooms: Big clean rooms a key nit.
Service: A worst service pan reported here.
Location: Near downtown for guests exploring the area.
Food: Fine for guests on most stays.
Facilities: Amenities for guests on most stays.
Value: High value for guests overall here.
Noise: Kid noise for guests on most stays.
Cleanliness: Clean for guests on most stays.
