“New Boston luxury, growing pains”
Raffles Boston is a new downtown hotel near shopping and dining — large elegant rooms, a beautiful quiet pool and sauna, and a kind Shenzhen-born housekeeper who charmed one guest. Early issues show: electric curtains broke in one room on day one, towels felt mediocre and unchanged on a second stay, a dining-table pendant lamp has head-bumped more than one guest with staff unsurprised, and a renovation smell drove one sensitive guest to want out — being charged an extra night to leave early was called domineering.
