Hotel Chaco is Albuquerque's most design-forward hotel — gorgeous ancient-tribe-inspired rooms with nothing useless in them, a refreshing modern-natural patio, a blast of a pool, lovely views from the rooftop restaurant's deck where Better Call Saul filmed, friendly relaxed accommodating staff, and a great Old Town spot across from The Sawmill. Honest caveats: one room fell short of the claimed standard with a dead TV network connection, and the thirty-five-dollar nightly resort fee stings guests who only sleep there.
