“Amsterdam's artsy boutique, sparse kit”
Monet Garden Hotel Amsterdam is a clean, cozy boutique on a quiet-yet-central street — good security with card entry, an Albert Heijn supermarket and light rail walkable, a perfect size for three travelers, an artsy environment, and incredibly helpful friendly staff; one guest rates the service above Danish peers. The critiques: shower and tap pressure run weak, no toothbrush, slippers, cups or bottled water are provided — surprising for four stars — restaurants within walking distance are limited, the menu is narrow, and evening staff could not help with delivery suggestions during a transport strike.
