Uma House by Yurbban Trafalgar is a very convenient liked stay — a quiet off-street Barcelona spot near the metro, airport bus and several supermarkets, excellent blackout curtains (one guest slept till ten-thirty), a clean bigger-than-expected room, a free daily wine happy hour, free water refills and free laundry, a rooftop pool and terrace with panoramic sunset views, a spacious lobby for lingering, luggage storage before and after stays, and all-kind staff; a fourth booking brought no regrets. Caveats though: the old town's dark late-night streets felt slightly scary to one guest — though dog walkers kept it populated — and breakfast is a small buffet.
