“Schweizerhof Basel's station ease”
Hotel Schweizerhof Basel is a clean hotel two hundred meters from the station — spacious comfortable larger-than-expected rooms, nice painting-lined public areas, a modest-to-delicious breakfast with good selection, free floor water dispensers, a provided rail card, museums in walking distance, and extremely helpful friendly staff. One caveat: station-facing rooms hear passing trams.
