“Oktogon classic, thin walls”
Hotel Oktogon Haggenmacher by Continental Group is a gorgeous classical-style Budapest hotel in a very convenient spot — metro, trams and buses beside it, the House of Terror museum close, many restaurants including Asian options around, and a bus from the train station stops nearby. Rooms are clean with high ceilings and tasteful design, the lobby is nice, breakfast is very good with daily-changing dishes, and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Two notes: soundproofing is average — outside conversation is audible — and rooms get tight when opening two large suitcases.
