“Palermo eatery district, noisy road rooms”
Ilum Experience Home is a modern, cosy small hotel in a very good Buenos Aires neighbourhood — walking access to amazing eateries, though shopping is thin — with quiet warm rooms, a decent breakfast by local standards, evening chocolates left bedside and super helpful staff, two Gonzalos named. One guest felt misled, though: there is essentially no restaurant food, the rooms need cosmetic refreshing, a bathroom door was broken, and road-facing rooms carry loud traffic noise — ask for a rear-facing one. Bathroom amenities were not always refilled.
