Beside the metro's B line — a single stop from Universal Studios, under ten minutes by car — Lexen Hotel - North Hollywood Near Universal Studios is a convenient good-value stay: a large very clean room with a comfortable couch and spacious bathroom, simple morning breakfast with coffee plus round-the-clock juice and water, easy check-in and out, young good-attitude staff, quiet local feel and low parking fees. Cautions: the area shows visible homelessness and begging , guests advise against solo nights out despite police presence at key spots , and rooms read a bit old.
