The Abernathy is a clean Clemson hotel — extremely spacious quiet comfortable rooms with a fridge, microwave, and a breakfast-or-work table, an excellent location across the street from campus, with downtown and the football stadium walkable, and amazing friendly staff. Caveats though: no free breakfast or complimentary coffee, the bar and restaurant opened only one night, room service ran subpar, and a microwave smelled of burnt popcorn.
