The property is a jungle retreat on the lagoon — very clean pretty cabins (open-air showers, not-soundproof walls), lagoon-front villas worth booking since other rooms lack views, a surprisingly excellent restaurant, gong baths and yoga, a worthwhile private sunrise paddle, and good desk and dining staff. Caveats though: a blood-stained sheet set slipped in once, paddle gear never arrived for one guest, the air conditioning was badly installed, food waits ran long, wellness services paused at low occupancy, and insects frogs and lizards roam.
