“Glenrothes' balbirnie house”
Set in a park with a golf course and woodland walks, Balbirnie House Hotel is a beautiful charming stay: tasteful lounges, an amazing good-value set dinner, a big clean room with great water pressure, excellent service, free parking and reasonable bar and breakfast rates. Cautions: no air conditioning, a previous guest's clothes left in drawers, staff distracted by a wedding on one stay and a very small window.
