“Borghese's smart boutique near Spagna”
Borghese Contemporary Hotel is a stunning little boutique seven-to-eight minutes from Spagna station — walkable to nearly all sights and the luxury streets, safe and artistic surroundings, exquisitely-designed (if slightly dark) rooms with all-touch switches and smart systems, a special terrace, a delicious complimentary breakfast, restaurants of every tier around, and outstanding humorous staff who even teach guests Italian. One strong dissent: after years of Rome five-stars, a pre-flight overnight found it below average for its rating — claiming the online photos mislead — 'it's awful.'
