“Art Atelier's charming Florence base”
Hotel Art Atelier - Place of Charme is a charming, incredibly-clean Florence hotel — three minutes from the Duomo and near the Uffizi and Accademia, a Chinatown-adjacent spot with a laundry, supermarket and Chinese restaurants two minutes away, larger-than-expected rooms with comfortable bedding, a nice varied breakfast (smoked salmon, eggs, mushrooms), quiet sleeps, and excellent service — a warm young desk clerk greeted guests, though an older colleague coldly ignored one. Notes: a noisy bathroom fan, fixed hangers, weak shower pressure, a hairdryer that overheated (replaced), and one sensitive guest who couldn't settle until the small hours.
