“Grand Cavour's duomo doorstep”
Grand Hotel Cavour is a beautiful central Florence hotel two minutes from the duomo and Palazzo Vecchio — clean lobby, large quiet rooms (bathrooms run smaller, shower-only), a pretty night-view rooftop bar, a varied morning breakfast, free water bottles, and attentive staff. Caveats though: a weak hairdryer tripped a room breaker once, the last bus runs early evening, and one guest found a desk agent cooler than colleagues.
