“Florence's rivalta stay”
Next to the Arno amid luxury shops — a bright big-windowed room, a lovely rooftop view — Il Rivalta is a beautiful great stay for many: a very spacious comfortable room, polite staff, an outstanding rich breakfast and quiet riverside nights. Serious complaints though: no elevator, no bathroom exhaust, staff grouped outside a room talking loudly, 4am laundry carts that wrecked sleep, a value-for-money mismatch per that guest, old wood windows that never quite shut and a strict no-early-check-in policy despite free rooms.
