Is Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh good? Overview, pros and cons
Staylist AI overview · based on 8 public guest reviews
“Zagyosoh's private onsen”
Abba Resorts Izu - Zagyosoh is an extremely pleasant best-in-Izu stay for most — a long-established pure-Japanese ryokan ten minutes by arranged pickup from Izu-Kogen station, a gracious attendant guiding room facilities in English with special sweets and matcha, a private open-air onsen in the room plus a public garden bath with soft clear odorless water, a balanced Japanese breakfast blending washoku and Western convenience, and kaiseki dinners of fresh ingredients plated like artworks; one guest's forgotten clothing was found and delivered to the rail station. Caveats though: a severe account describes loud road-digging works on the villa opposite that only stopped after a room-change request — quiet being the minimum at an onsen hotel — plus a breakfast seating mix-up and a not-worth-it verdict.
