“Madison Hamburg's canal-side stay”
The Madison Hotel Hamburg is a lovely conveniently-located hotel — spacious comfortable rooms with kitchen facilities and Rituals toiletries, a fantastic breakfast spread (the eggs praised, though a bit pricey, with a supermarket five minutes away), canal strolls nearby, and heartwarming friendly staff. Caveats though: the walk from the subway ran dark and scary for one guest, first-floor construction surprised arrivals, the carpet divided opinion, and air conditioning proved poor across rooms and common areas during a heatwave.
