“La's miyako hotel”
Near the metro in Little Tokyo — blocks of walkable eating around — Miyako Hotel Los Angeles is a good-location stay: a big clean comfortable room with water, slippers and toiletries, a twenty-four-hour hot-water and microwave corner, Japanese-leaning breakfast buffet and a ten-minute downtown walk. Dissents though: a sudden midnight power outage with an unreachable front desk, a dead return elevator forcing a ten-floor stair climb, outages reportedly frequent, and a merely-okay verdict.
