“Makati's st giles”
St Giles Hotel Makati earns enjoyed definite-return marks for many: a nice-view room with a smart TV, a really good delicious breakfast, accommodating staff, a fancy feel, good food and decent facilities at the rate. One severe dissent though: a previous guest's rubbish — including warm takeaway and worse — left in a mould-smelling room, nineties-era fittings with dirty marks, a drifting massage-oil smell, fast-but-late cleaning, an unclean washroom and a single towel.
