“Promenade-view Nice perch, paper walls”
Hotel Suisse Nice wins on its setting — terraces facing the coastline and the Promenade des Anglais, easy beach access, kind reception with bag storage, and decent dining. The hardware disappoints many: small renovated rooms, very poor soundproofing (neighbour conversation and road noise disturb sleep), a tiny three-person lift, twin beds pushed together masquerading as a double, and value that underdelivers — the same view is free from Castle Hill park.
