“Bryant Park base, smell saga”
Park Terrace Hotel sits by Bryant Park — convenient to theatres, shops and the park's great views, with friendly attentive staff, excellent amenities, clean rooms and returning fans. Practical notes: rooms are small even by New York norms and tight for two, low floors run dark so book higher, and one sixth-floor room beside the restaurant smelled of sewage at the lift and worse inside — the desk said they would look into it but nothing changed despite follow-ups. Another guest needed a firm room change after a cold drafty start.
