“Orsay-adjacent gem, micro rooms”
Hôtel d'Orsay - Esprit de France sits beside the Orsay Museum — cafés, restaurants and early-morning Seine walks all close — with a professional, warm team and a tasty breakfast; it was even the only European hotel on one trip to serve welcome champagne. The trade-offs are real: rooms are very small — a suitcase only opens half at a time and some categories require a short stair climb — service can be perfunctory, multi-phone charging failed once leaving a dead phone, and the usually-unlocked lobby was locked twice, with long bell waits and a startlingly sharp ring.
