“Hôtel Elysia's Champs-Elysées charm, dissent”
Hôtel Elysia by Inwood Hotels is a beautiful Paris hotel near the Champs-Elysées — clean comfortable balcony rooms, a good breakfast, walkable to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower amid many restaurants, and wonderfully-friendly staff who delivered a welcome card, desserts and needed items on arrival; a second-stay guest called it lovely. Two severe dissents: influencer hype — a road-adjacent room carried all-night traffic noise, and staff pushed into the room without knocking, killing any sense of safety; plus housekeeping refilled paper water cans without cleansing — a bottle arrived with lipstick on it — and odd front-desk warnings about bed-eating and lobby photos annoyed.
