Le Pavillon des Lettres is a beautiful literary-themed Paris hotel — spotless stylish rooms (a family room pleased), a wonderful secure location near the shopping district with the sights walkable, great common areas and food, impeccable amenities, and super friendly staff who helped a guest's ill wife. Two warnings: a reserved departure taxi never showed — the desk knew there'd be a problem but didn't warn, leaving a scramble; and a towel warmer set boiling-hot caused a second-degree burn on a brief touch. One guest also found the room cold and tiny with window drafts and weak heating.
