Surfsand Resort is a pristine beachfront Cannon Beach property — updated clean rooms with amazing ocean views, hot showers, a personal s'mores fire-pit service, a Friday beer hour, checkout coffee kindness and cookies, beach access, and helpful friendly staff. Caveats though: the sofa bed felt coil-sprung and unrestful, one door needed slamming to close, parking lacks designated spaces, the oceanfront lighthouse building has an obstructed Haystack view worth noting, and holiday rates ran dear.
