“Center Laugavegur's central Reykjavik base”
Center Hotels Laugavegur is a clean, modern Reykjavik hotel bang in the city centre — close to stores and restaurants, a nice football-watching bar, a healthy breakfast, tour pickups from the bus stop next door, tickets sold at reception, first-come parking behind, friendly helpful staff, and a granted top-floor room with snow-mountain balcony views (small with a dark shower). One severe report: bug bites covering a guest in red dots on night three — they photographed the insects, learned earlier guests had reported the same, discarded clothing, and felt the room swap was mere formality in a long-standing pest problem.
