“Vatican-adjacent favourite, tiny rooms”
Hotel Isa is a repeat-guest favourite fifteen minutes' walk from the Vatican — a beautiful tranquil rooftop terrace, an amazing breakfast, very friendly staff, and rooms ranging from spacious and beautifully decorated to small with balconies; one guest returns twice yearly. Caveats: one room was terribly small with weird perpendicular corner beds and a bathroom that felt unclean, and the main metro is a fair distance away.
