“Nazionale's Roman perch”
Hotel Nazionale is a wonderful nice stay — a great central location beside the parliament buildings in a quiet safe neighborhood (sharing a plaza with the prime minister's residence), a five-minute walk to the Pantheon with the window opening onto the square, buses nearby, ten minutes to the station and every sight walkable, a well-renovated nicely-appointed interior, a rich breakfast until ten with make-your-own waffles, and super friendly helpful staff. Caveats though: one guest assigned to a small outside ground-floor room found hygiene mediocre and staff not very warm.
